You can configure the Ethernet ports to operate either as a bridge or as independent interfaces—useful, for example, when you need to separate the “customer” network from the “PLC” network to maintain a high security level.
LAN – 100 Mbit port
Can also operate in DHCP or static mode.
In static mode, a DHCP server may be enabled on this port to automatically assign IP addresses to connected devices.
WAN – 1 Gbit port
Can obtain an IP address via DHCP or be configured with a static IP.
By default, WAN is set to receive IP from DHCP server and LAN is set to static 192.168.1.1 – with running DHCP server – exactly as you can see on the attached screenshot
