How to Retrieve a Device Connection String in Azure IoT Hub
- Sign in to the Azure Portal
Go to the Azure Portal and sign in with your account credentials. - Open your IoT Hub
From the left-hand menu, select Resource groups or use the search bar to locate and open your IoT Hub resource. - Access the Devices section
In the IoT Hub navigation menu, select IoT devices. - Select the target device
Click on the name of the device for which you want to retrieve the connection string. - Copy the connection string
In the device details pane, locate the Primary connection string or the Secondary connection string. Click the copy icon to copy the required value for use in your application or configuration.
