DataTalk Launches Industrial-Grade IPC for Edge Computing

Prague, Czechia – 9th of March, 2026 – DataTalk today announces the launch of its new DataTalk IPC, a rugged industrial computer designed to bring high-performance computing directly to the edge. Engineered for 24/7 operation in demanding industrial environments, the DataTalk IPC enables businesses to run software right next to PLCs, machines, or production lines – eliminating latency and reducing reliance on cloud infrastructure.

The DataTalk IPC is designed to withstand the rigors of production environments. It features:

• Wide operating temperature range from ‑25 °C to +60 °C
• Integrated power backup for uninterrupted operation
• Comprehensive connectivity including dual-band WiFi, LTE, Ethernet, and RS‑232/485
• High-performance hardware with a quad-core CPU @2.4 GHz, 8 GB RAM, and 64 GB eMMC storage, expandable via micro-SD or NVMe SSD

Pre-Loaded Software for Rapid Deployment
Each unit comes with a licensed software bundle, ready to use out-of-the-box:

• AI Alarm & Notify – Real-time monitoring and predictive maintenance using AI
• Connect, Log & Report – Automated data logging and multilingual reporting
• OT/IT Gateway – Seamless protocol bridging and cloud connectivity, including LTE support for remote sites

Flexible Licensing and Pricing
The DataTalk IPC is available from approximately 1 150 € for hardware plus software bundle. Licensing includes lifetime use and free updates in the first year, with optional annual updates thereafter.
